      I agree with most of your list. Don’t really want to play Miami and Pedd State.  Ohio st would be my choice or Michigan St for B1G. Florida st from the ACC.

        Well, I get the Miami, Penn State dismissal.  There are sexier programs to play.  I was mainly making my selection out of teams that I think we could roll and games that would help with recruiting.  Alabama and Michigan would be fun teams to play again, but I just don’t want a similar Notre Dame or TCU loss.

          I am dismissing both of those programs because I think playing them makes me disgusted.  Similar to how we play BYU a program that seems to lack institutional control.

          Whitt vs Urban needs to happen in my lifetime.  I want to see it in the bowls/playoffs of course which I think is the most likely scenario.  I just don’t see both programs scheduling an out of conference game.   Michigan St would be an awesome game for the challenge.

      The top 4 from each of the P5 conferences, plus the MWC, in no particular order.

      B1G – Michigan State, Penn State, Ohio State, Wisconsin

      ACC – Clemson, Florida State, Virginia, Duke

      SEC – Arkansas, Mississippi State, Florida, South Carolina

      BigXII – Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech

      MWC – San Diego State, Hawaii, Utah State, UNLV

      I’m really torn on this subject. Adding a 10th tough P5 team to our schedule may hurt us come the end of November, which I think happened last year. Our depth was incredibly depleted by the time UCLA rolled into town and I think it contributes to why we struggle with Colorado every year.

      I get that beating Michigan helped us move up in the rankings and was one of the most exciting games ever played in RES, but we paid for it later in the season, plus we lost Moeai. Who knows, maybe we win the south last year if we didn’t play Michigan.

      I’m okay with a weak OOC schedule for now and maybe the next year or two.
