It probably puts them in the realm of a second round playoff team. OKC is probably going to move Westbrook. He may want to move to LA when they eventually fire the GM. This in the long run will make fans very excited.
In the NBA grand scheme of things though it just seems futile with the Warriors. They are like the BORG of the NBA nothing you do will matter. The best any team in the west can do is hope for an injury to the Warriors.
It’ll be interesting to see how this mix of veterans affects the young kids. The team has been all young kids for a while, so I’ll be watching with fascination.
On a side note, can I just say I’m glad about Trey Burke being traded. NOTHING against him – he played well, he did what he was asked, he was a standup guy that did a lot of good things. But… something just didn’t seem right there. Attitude wise. It was like a thinly disguised act that he was doing OK here.
I’ve seen the Jazz as high as 4 in some of the national power rankings. This is crazy. I can see it though if we get healthy. Any word on Favors for opening night.
Honestly haven’t been following them this off season. They look to be a defensive juggernaut. Hood is coming back from a pinky injury….I know pinky. Looks like Favors and Diaw starting practicing again.
