Lander Barton is the starting OLB as Sophomore for Brighton

  He is so much better than Cody was as a Junior (Cody played safety in HS). – IMO, having watched him in Brighton’s first two games against somewhat mediocre teams in Fremont and Layton. Hope he keeps on his current trajectory and follows his parents and brothers to Utah, super likely. Curious where he will play at the next level? DE or LB. Currently, he is arguably the best player on Brighton’s defense for an overall middle of the road team that is on its way up.

  So at this point we know Lander plays well against mediocre HS teams and he’s arguably the best defensive player on a middle of the road team. Sounds like he’s above average.
  
  I’m going to watch him play Woods Cross next week.
  
  He’ll probably be a 3 or 4 start recruit once it’s all said and done. Rumor is he likes Texas but I’d bet $$$ he ends up at Utah.
