      Man, love it. A lot of defense, but the throws that are made by Williams…they look so much prettier than Wilson. That makes me sad because I really thought Wilson could be great but makes me so FREAKING happy for this fall.

        Tempering my expectations for the USC game obviously. Williams won’t face too much adversity until that game. Utah should be ranked by the USC game so it will be a great matchup to watch.

        I actually think San Jose may be the toughest game before that. On the road etc but I expect the Utah defense to potentially be the high scoring team in that game.

        Reading that I almost sound like an arrogant BCS program fan. I just don’t see any matchup problems until USC is all.

          That USC game is the most “guaranteed” win we will probably ever have against USC. They are just so far ahead of us talent wise, you go into every season expecting to lose to USC.

          BUT, if we could ever “expect” a win vs USC, this year would be the year due to their schedule. They open vs Alabama, then play USU, then play Stanford then come to SLC.

          That is an insanely hard schedule. To go 2-2 with that schedule would be amazing for USC. It’s just too hard. They play three of the top three? four? most physical teams to start the year. And that doesn’t include USU, who it a tough team.

          They have a new QB and a thin DL. There is a chance that they make a QB change after the Stanford game and we get a QB in their first game ever.

          I hope we win that game, but it might be the easiest USC game we ever get.

          Sometimes I wish I was a fan of USC. Can you imagine that? This may be Utah’s best chance to beat them and even then USC should probably still win.

          How would that be as a fan? lol.

            I think I still would much rather be a Ute fan, besides, I don’t see USC as being That much better than us. I think our defense may be the best in the PAC. Our O line may well be right up there with our D. If we get a good air game, I think we take the PAC championship this year.
