      Going to be a roller coaster season in the Pac-12, this is why the ACC, does NOT deserve a CFP bid this year. I’d love to see the committee not punish a team for winning a tough conference. But it’s going to happen. Sadly UCLA didn’t show up in non-conference. OOC is crucial for the Pac-12 perception.

      Sadly, a lot of teams didn’t show up for chunks of the non-conference slate. Oregon’s choke to Auburn, 2 losses to Hawaii, USC loss to BYU, CU to Airforce. UCLA to everyone. It makes the league look weaker than it is. Sigh. The ACC is a worse league, but Clemson is deservedly the #1 team. This is why we need an 8 team playoff where all conf champs (with some sort of qualifier) from p5 leagues get in, and the top non-p5 team as well, plus 2 at large.

      Wazzu couged it. They have a long history of it. Hence the term: “Couged it”

      Utah couged it and I hope this is the only WTF loss. That Oline needs to get much better and play smarter. It is inconsistent to say the least.

        Yeah there have been many cougings, a lot in the Apple Cup.
