Large majority have the Utes at 12. There were a few votes at 11, and one vote at 10 (thanks, Josh Furlong). Lowest ranking for Utah is 14, which there were four votes for. Those four voters’ affiliations are Wyoming, San Diego St, USC, and Penn St.
Obviously these rankings don’t mean much, but it’s hard to think they don’t at least influence the CFP rankings in some way. It’s interesting to look at the actual ballots and see how random biases can impact the rankings.
