ParticipantA defensive TD combined with a shutout. That would be the trend I’d like to see. Basically resulting in -7 points.
I really don’t see a shutout, but Washington’s offense will not score many against our defense. And our offense should be better than last year, because we’ve improved and also Washington’s D isn’t as good.
As long as we don’t turn the ball over I think we win this one going away. This team has broken the other team’s will, and it’s started on Defense, then the offense tag teams in for the next blow, Defense, Offense.
Washington Will Fail (WWF) sorry couldn’t come up with a good WWE.

ParticipantThis is a program trajectory changing type of opportunity. If we want to be elite, we have to win these type of games. No excuses.

ParticipantThis game has an eerily similar feel to the game against ASU last year. Utah was just coming off a dominant 4-game winning stretch and faced a good (not great) opponent on the road and was beaten soundly.
I agree with you, Utah MUST win these types of games if they are to reach that next level of success. The November collapses have been infuriating. If Utah really is a top ten team like so many of us claim, then this should be a game we win.
IMO, this game goes as Huntley goes. It took a strong performance from Herbert to eek out a win against UW in Seattle. He threw for 280 yards and 4 TD. Additionally, Oregon rushed for 154. Huntley needs to be able to do the same. I worry about his injury.

ParticipantPetersen has owned KW mainly because of being out coached on defense against Utah’s weak offensive OCs. Ludwig is as good of an offensive coach as Petersen and Bush Hampton (his mini me from Boise State). Utah’s defense is waaay better now along with UWs offense not nearly as good as the last few years. Utah has hung in defending UW’s offense. Difference is, Utah’s offense is much better coached now than in the past. Utes win this one by two TDs.

ParticipantLudwig as good as Petersen . . . ?
It’s not even close who the better offensive coach is between the two. Petersen is an offensive guru while Ludwig is a solid OC; he’s certainly better than anyone else we’ve had under Whittingham but Ludwig is no Petersen.

ParticipantPeterson is NOT an offensive guru.
