  I assume Thompson is out for at least this weeks game .. will they start Vele ? heard the coaches are high on him , anyone have some insight ?

  On a similar note, what about Covey? I know they want to RS him, but does he see the field *if* Thompson is not available?

    I think Covey only plays if Utah gets to the Playoff, and maybe only them if they get to the title game. Otherwise not worth losing a whole year of eligibility.

      If the Utes get to the CFP (or the Rose Bowl for that matter) Covey should play. What is he like 27 years old?

      How active is Covey right now? I understand that last Friday he was on the sidelines of his old high school team in the 5A title game at Rice-Eccles.

  I saw Vele in pads and on the sideline at the UA game. Did not notice whether he played, but the way he was suited up caught me off guard.

  Stick to the lineup of WRs that played after Thompson went down? That is my guess.
