      247Sports on Van Fillinger.

      Van is a 4* (.9036) 6-3, 255-pound strong side defensive end from Corner Canyon HS, in Draper, Utah. Since last fall, he was been shown as headed to Texas. This recruiting profile, available to view except the VIP stuff, now shows him in Utah’s camp, with a sliver of hope to Michigan. I really hope this direction turns out to be true.

      Yeah, I saw his de-commitment from Texas on Reddit yesterday.  Most of the talk was that Utah is most likely to get him.  Though admittedly, I’m a little concerned that somehow Oregon will sweep in and grab him.  But he will thrive at Utah and be an NFL player if he has the work ethic and talent.
