Bottom line. We were fooled by our O -Line. They struggled against TDS,northern I’ll. Were totally exposed against USC. Average against washington. Even Colorado for a quarter dominated the line of scrimmage. We were all fooled to think they were more than average.

well. Average doesn’t get you into the Playoff or The Rose Bowl. Look at Wisconsin. Every year Wisconsin is in the top ten. They recruit worse than us, have less athletes than us. But are consistently dominate. Why. There O-line is incredible every year. Next year we return everyone, minus Paulo for Bam. Maybe Bam is the difference. If our line is fixed I think we could be very good again next year.

May want to take a look at Wisconsin’s commitment list before you make these claims. Per 24/7, UW has the 26th ranked recruitment class. Several four star recruits committed. In the hunt for a couple other top ranked players. Utah is no where near UWs recruiting at this point.

Who exactly did our O-line fool? They’ve clearly been both the least experienced and weakest unit on our team the entire season. It’s one of the biggest reason they lost to USC, and the biggest reason they got embarrassed by Oregon. The reason Moss led the country in breaking tackles was because he’s a stud, but our O-line is the reason he had to break so many. They’ve missed blocks or just plain been beat all season long.

They’ll be more experienced and better as a unit next year. But Utah needs to improve recruiting to be anywhere near as elite as Wisconsin on the line.

Did the online fool out defense into getting cut up by Verdell?
