What better place for a freshman to come in and be thrown into the fire that at Utah with a solid D-line next year? Will be fun to watch these guys grow and compete.
He seems like a great kid. Has his head on straight and has a clear vision of what he wants.
Only problem is he also wants to leave after three years. I don’t blame him and I think he should if he can, but selfishly as a fan, I want him for four years.
Nah, the more players that show they can leave after 3 years is nothing but a great thing for us. It only served to attract more players of that caliber. With 3 years of starting games, Jaylon Johnson is in the upper tier of all-time total time on the field for Utah.
He said 4 maybe 3 years. I am so happy to have players that are good enough that the NFL is calling them when they are juniors. Particularly when they graduate or come back to graduate. If we recruit players that start out elite, we must expect it. When we have players that quickly become elite, like Alex, we have to accept it when it occurs. When we have players like Moss that could go but stay, that is a unicorn. I’m fine with his plan.
Nah. If a kid is good enough to go to the NFL after 3 years, that means we got 3 really good years out of him. Kids leaving for the pros early is a problem that’s nice to have.
Alabama, Ohio St., and Clemson seem to be doing just fine with a roster full of guys who aren’t going to play all 4 years…
