      This Peter Costelli commitment got me all excited and I started perusing the roster and noticed something…

      isn’t pretty much every D tackle on our roster a senior this year?

      Do we have any d tackles that aren’t?  Who’s in the pipeline for 2021 other then the younger Fotu?

      also,

      who the linebacker contributors that will join Devon Lloyd?  Lund is suspended so who knows if it’s him.

      and the team will be looking for 3-4 others to contribute… thoughts??

      I don’t know who we are expecting to come in, but looking over the roster there are 6 guys listed as DT or DL that are Juniors or younger. The DLs obviously could end up at DE, but I think it’s just as likely they end up inside. On top of those guys, I would bet there’s one or two young OL that will make the switch to DT at some point.

       

      DT – Scott Foley – Jr.

      DL – Semisi Lauaki – RS Fr.

      DT – Jake Mitten – RS Fr.

      DT – Eli Morrow – So.

      DL – Taniela Pututau – Fr.

      DL – Tennessee Pututau – Fr.

      At LB, the most likely contributors next to Lloyd will be Nephi Sewell (Jr.) and Andrew Mata’afa (So.) in addition to Lund. Wasn’t there a highly rated Juco LB that came in last year? I can’t recall his name but I’m not seeing anyone on the roster that rings a bell.

        Ten em Carlson…

        I guess I overlooked all those freshman cause they all weigh like 250 and that seems a tad light to play the middle. But they’ve got slot of time to out on the weight! Haha my bad.

            I heard he retired a while ago. I’m not sure who or where it was said though.

      I’d be beyond excited if we could finally convince a Calvert [LB] kid to play for their father’s program….Lots of competition for him, however.
