      For the first time I piloted one of my racing drones at about 11,000 feet. It was a little scary because the air is so thin up there the bird was really working hard to fly. Video:

      Really nice photos. How long can you keep a drone in the air and what is the range?

        This rig down in SLC can fly for roughly 6 minutes on one battery.  Up there it lasted 4 because of the thin air and cold. Some I have can go 10-20 min.   Range wise on this setup could be miles, but if I crash I don’t want to go miles to find it!

        Yeah the pack is quite a bit heavier with that stuff on it. The batteries are dense.
