      OnlyU, do you know anything about this kid and if we would have a shot at getting him? 5* LB that looks like he’s bailing on LSU because he’s not getting enough playing time. Pretty sure this type of talent could immediately start for us right next to Devin Lloyd.

      We offered but out of high school but I think he took one visit to LSU…that’s it. Haven’t heard anything about him since he committed there.

        Don’t we leave a couple of spots open for finding kids through the transfer portal whereas the big-time schools would be full? For example, how we were able to get Manny Bowen (I realize he didn’t work out but it was still a huge get at the time). Wondering if we might have a better shot at getting a kid like Marcel Brooks to transfer to Utah since the schools that he originally was considering (Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, TAMU) might not have any room scholarship-wise?

      Brooks is a really talented kid.  I hope we have a good chance to get him.
