      “After receiving guidance from state and public health officials and consulting with football student-athletes, we’ve decided that we will not compete on the gridiron this season,” UConn athletics director David Benedict said in a news release.

      Quick note: UConn was never going to “compete on the gridiron” this season.

      UConn has got to be arguably the worst football program @ the FBS level. They really should just either drop to the FCS level or drop their program altogether. People schedule them for the easy win every season.
