      by a team who’d lost every single regular season lacrosse game.

      What kind of semi-final includes a team that went winless during the regular season? Was there only 4 teams?

        There were 7 teams in the entire Premier Lacrosse League.  The 1st seeded team got an opening round bye, while seeds 2 thru 7 started off in the first elimination round.  In THAT round, the 7th seeded team miraculously upset the #2 seed by 5 goals.  Then they did so likewise to the Archers by 4 goals in the Semis.  They will now face the #1 seed in the title game Sunday afternoon.

        Good question though.
