      Whitt said on ESPN 700 that he prefers a 5 game spring season.  He proposes that you play each team in your division and then play a championship game with the winner playing in the Rose Bowl against the Big 10 champion.

      He would be opposed to any spring season if it counted against the players eligibility, but the NCAA has said that it won’t.

      I would like an 8 game season, but I will take any football I can get.

        I think they should play. I think it should be in empty stadiums with TV broadcast. Obviously that isn’t possible. CDC just got rid of the two week travel quarantine.  Things are very different. 

        Unfortunately as @89ute said it is an extremely political decision.
