”He’s really probably been the brightest surprise of camp,” Carroll said. ”And what it is, is we didn’t know how he would cover being that he has been more of a safety. But he’s got great quick feet, and great feel for routes and he covers people as tight as anybody we have on our team.”

      P. S. Pita Tamoepenu was put onto the roster with another DE’s injury. Cody still plays but haven’t looked around for coverage. He played well last season but plays behind former aggie and all around stud Bobby Wagner.

So I live up here in WA and Blair is the talk of the town. Everyone is raving about how great he has been. Getting Adams is HUGE for that secondary because he does so many things you can ask less of all your other DB’s and they look better.

Blair? You are good at playing close to the LOS, short yard coverage and blitzing? Well, guess what? Because of Adams, that is all we will ask you to do! Go look good.

As far as Barton goes…well, everyone loves him as well. They have said his mastery of the defense and pre-snap reads is special. His problem is that he plays behind a Hall of Famer from Utah State, so he won’t get on the field as much due to that, but they see him as their future MLB. Don’t be surprised to see him move around to other LB positions just to get him on the field more.

They love their two Utes up here in the NW right now.
