      NCAA ruled that this year doesn’t count against your eligibility.  We have a number of commits coming in.  Will the NCAA raise the number of available scholarship players? Or, do we need to let some kids go to make room for the new players?  This is not a year where we have any underclassmen looking to leave early.  This dilemma doesn’t just affect this upcoming season but could change things for 3 or 4 years.

      Unfortunately some people are going to need to go. If they raise the limit, that would be the new limit forever unless they start taking in fewer kids in future classes. I know they can’t officially cut anyone, but they can make it clear that they’re not going to play here and they should start looking elsewhere.

      NCAA isn’t increasing the number of scholarships, only allowing seniors one more year of eligibility. So schools should have a signing class similar to number of seniors. Full on holes with transfers and juco kids.

        Seniors don’t count against the count if they ce back, one year only.  Don’t know how many ute seniors want to come back.
