Remember Z. Moss’ freshman year, 4th and goal last play of the game and he runs straight into the back of his lineman instead of waiting for the hole to develop.  He later commented that he should have been Patient.  He is now one of the most paitent backs out there.

Good RB’s understand this patience.  Our RB’s have not yet figured this out, except for one.  Number 22.  He is a smart back to compliment his talent.  I think the others will get there, but right now that is the main thing seperating Jordan from the others.

Fun to watch these guys grow over this short season.  The next fours years should be a blast.

If he’s as good as all that, he may leave after two.

I am excited about Jordan.  He has more speed than Moss, which will lead to some breakaway runs like we have already seen.  He seems to be smart, strong, and fast.  I believe this kid has a bright future here.

If he leaves early to go to the pros, oh well.  That will mean he is an excellent RB.

2021 with Jordan, Covey, Kuithe, and Thompson could be exciting.  However, we need a QB who can lead us.  I hope Rising can rehab quickly and be 100% by early summer.  If so, and we can stay healthy – our offense “may” be the best offense we have had in the KW era.  Of course, our young linemen need to take it to the next level.

      Go Utes!!!
