  We did not come to play in the first half today. The effort was pathetic.
  
  Then, they came out and played as we should have all along.
  
  Weird game to end a very weird season.
  
  Now, if we can get a QB to go with Kuithe, Jordan, Covery, and Thompson – we could have a great offense.

  I am assuming Kuithe and Covey leave. Well Covey who knows 9 seasons as a College football player can’t be that bad I guess.

    Covey isn’t going anywhere. He just said he was excited about next season.
    
    Kuithe may go, but I hope not. I think he could use another year to put some weight on and further develop his skills. However, he needs to do what is best for him.

    why do you think kuithe would leave? nfl? (not ready imo). he’s a feature player on offense. he certainly wouldn’t transfer but who knows

      Edit I also understand that this wasn’t a catch in the nfl. Just showing he is pretty good. Reminds me of Kelce in a lot of ways. Needs to improve his hands. Blocking is average.

  His brother is still here. I bet he stays one more year. Lloyd is fond though. Good for him.

  I think the player vote to not accept a bowl had a great deal to do with the flat start. When you want to call it a day before the last game, I don’t expect a fired up team. I think Whitt was adamant at halftime that they finish the year and they listened to him. I know it is a tough year but most teams want to play every game possible and want to play like they demand to not be ignored. I hope nothing in the decision had anything to do with what was happening in the spring. I do respect the decision to be done, just did not expect it.
  
  Covey stays, why not? Kuithe may stay if his brother is fired up about next year and stays. It was good to finally see him. Lloyd, I think, is 50/50. Hope he stays but either way LB is a strength next year. Ford I expect will be gone.
