MIDWAY, Utah—The Utah Utes lengthened their lead considerably in the Nordic classical races at the RMISA Invitational on Monday and picked up two more individual wins as Sydney Palmer-Leger won the women’s 15 kilometer and Sam Hendry won the men’s 20K at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center.
The RMISA Invitational at Utah resumes with the women’s alpine skiers competing in two giant slalom races on Feb. 11 at Park City Resort. Two men’s giant slalom races will be held the following day on Feb. 12 to conclude the meet.
Next up for the Nordic skiers is the completion of the University of Denver Invitational next weekend at Maloit Park in Minturn, Colorado. The women’s 5K freestyle and men’s 7.5K freestyle races are Friday, Jan. 22, with the women’s 7.5K classic and men’s 10K classic races set for Saturday, Jan. 23.
