A lot of people claiming contract buyout is too large to fire Larry, curious how much Utah lost from not making the NCAA tourney for multiple seasons? Rip the band-aid and move on already.
There are no Nevada schools in the league, so doesn’t seem likely. Perhaps they can reduce overhead and move the Pac-12 Network studies out of San Francisco to some more affordable locale. SLC should bid.
I 100% think it’s time to move on from Larry Scott. He has maxed out his usefulness and the league is in pretty rough shape. His ideas aren’t working and for what he gets paid, he’s a pretty poor commissioner.
That said, thank you, Larry, for overseeing the addition of Utah to the Pac 12. I’ll always be grateful to him for that.
