          Battin has had a few good moments (actually had some good shooting in Vegas a few weeks ago), but usually isn’t that valuable.  For his height, ought to be doing more inside but perhaps lacks the strength to bang with larger players.

          But does give us some continuity to have a familiar face returning.  Just wish he (and a few others) would hit the weight room over the summer.

      Riley is a decent offensive player, especially if left open.  Maybe Coach Smith can teach the dude how to play defense and rebound.  Hell, just lock him in a room and have him watch non-stop videos of the University of Houston play and maybe some of that will absorb into his brain.
