In the P5 each conference goes about scheduling differently.  Sadly, some strategies can work against the quality of their own schedule but minimize losses and gain an advantage in the playoffs.  These strategies can build momentium with recruiting that creates additional advantage.  Last, media focus around populated historically strong fan bases can make comparing teams from different regions difficult.  He can see that we all benefit from letting each conference go about their own process while being assured that their conference champion will play for the national chanpionship without the necessity to manage an image intended for committee votes.  Let it be decided on the field of play.
