Was academic non-qualifier both times and USC could not take him. It appears the language barrier held him back with academics for a while but now he’s a 3.0+ gpa. He talks about going from Serbia to Illinois (to live) to D2 to JUCO to ISU to Utah. Kid has been through some things with COVID, learning English, growing to 6’11” along the way. His favorite player is Nikola Jokic, also from Serbia. The kid claims he can shoot outside as well as lead in rebounding. Should be fun to watch.
