The bigger, wider one looked like a non-typical 5 x 5 or better and the other was an average 4 point I would say. Couldn’t get my phone out quick enough to snag the proof but it’s nice to know there’s still some big bucks hanging out along the Wasatch front.
Anyway, it was a great drive before seeing the deer, even got down to 79 degrees at one point. We did a loop from my house in Cottonwood Heights up and over guardsman, got dinner in Heber, then headed toward cascade springs and finished the alpine loop toward American fork. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to beat the heat and drive with your car windows down for a bit.
