      There’s so much speed in this recruiting class.  Look at the number that also run track and have really impressive times and it’s pretty clear we’re putting an emphasis on speed.

      Nate Johnson – 10.52 s (10.49 in a relay split, second fastest 100 for a junior in California last year)
      Adarrius Hanshaw – 10.78 s
      Zion Steptoe – 10.97 s
      Jeffrey Ugo – 11.12 s
      Jaylon Glover – 11.22 s

      Those are some serious wheels for a bunch of juniors.

        FYI that 10.49 by Nate Johnson would’ve gotten him to the semifinal heats at the Olympics.

          That matches the 10.52 Ty Jordan had at the same age. If the QB thing doesn’t work out for Johnson, that kind of speed will get him to the next level at another position.

          He looked really good as a hybrid WR/RB in his sophomore tape so maybe he turns into another DeVonte Christopher?
