      I know this is a goofy lilst list on a goofy radio show…  But it is interesting to me again, with 10 more spots to go there are more Utah starters not named than spots left with some of the better Y players also to go.  I wonder because if I was to guess how many instate players could break into the 2 deep at Utah, I might guess 3 or 4.  Into the starters, I don’t know who that would be.  Only a few Utah 2s on the list.  We need to get some sports reporting going by student interns to pick up the quality of local sports coverage.

      Ute players I suspect in the top ten:

      Covey

      Brewer

      Ford

      Kuithe

      Tafua

      Phillips

      Lloyd

      I doubt a Ute RB will be in the top-ten because the media did not know much about Tavion Thomas when this list was generated in early June.

      BYU will have a couple in the top ten including Alligier and Empey.  Outside of that – I am not sure.  There is a USU guy that Bill Riley likes, but I can’t remember his name.

        In addition I think Vele, McKinney, Daniels and Bam were missed, not top 10 but in the 60. Redding is close to top 10. Howard, if he stays healthy will end near the top. Jackson will not be QB1 but if he plays something like TE/H back he would be in the 60. Laumea, Bernard and Fillinger/Carlton were missed. Last, everyone usually forgets about Utah’s nickel, Mataele will play a lot and is better than many on the list.
