      Doesn’t seem to be paying off. At some point you have to realize that maybe wasting roster spots on guys who weren’t good enough to play on their old teams is not the best use of scholarships and other resources. 

      pledger runs soft. Thomas is a small minded fool who can’t seem to understand what hold onto the damn ball means, curry hasn’t been given a chance, kaufusi is worthless… I can’t even tell if Howard or McClain were ever on the field yesterday.

      I understand that many of these were a result of our own guys leaving… but we really shouldn’t get excited about another team’s scrubs.

      So what do you propose we do? Not replace the players who leave?

      I’m having trouble understanding what you’re advocating for here.

        I understand replacing players… but Whitt has mentioned several times leaving scholarships open for transfer guys. That’s what I’m talking about. Fill those spots with guys that haven’t failed on other teams (high school recruits).

        Also, as fans it is apparent that we put false hope in these transfers.

      If your Oline and Dline get beat on every down the talent of your skill players is irrelevant. Ute running backs are going to be hit in the back field or have to allude a defender in the backfield on about every run play. This is nothing new. IICR, Zack Moss had the highest yards after contact percentage because he’s damn good, but also because he was routiney hit in the backfield. 

      Utah has had offensive line problems for the past two years and it’s finally caught up to them and now the defensive line is showing weakness. Does not matter how talented your skill players are if the Oline cannot block and the dline cannot stop the run or put pressure on the QB.
