SAN FRANCISCO – University of Utah outside hitter Dani Drews has earned this week’s Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week award, the conference office announced Monday afternoon. The weekly award selection marks the second of the season for Drews and the fifth of her career.
Drews led Utah to its first road sweep over the Oregon schools since 2016, which included a sweep over the No. 17-ranked Ducks. The Sandy, Utah native averaged 6.71 kills per set after totaling 18 kills against Oregon and then posting a season-high 29 kills in the four-set win over Oregon State.
