That I remember watching in 60 years.  Others include the games against Alabama and Pitt.  That being said, there are some things I know the coaching staff will be working on this week:

      1. Snapping – we need to get this issue resolved.  We could afford a turnover on Friday.  That won’t always be the case.

      2. Playing under control emotionally.  There were a number of times that things got chippy on Friday.  We need to stop some of that crap.  We cannot afford 15-yard penalties because we could not control our emotions.

      3. Kickoffs – why aren’t we able to kick it out of the endzone?  And when we don’t – our coverage has allowed too many longer returns.

      4. Passing game efficiency – We had three passes blocked at the LOS and there were some throws that were way off target.  Was that the fault of the QB or the receivers?  I don’t know.  Don’t get me wrong – our passing game was not bad, but IMO it wasn’t as sharp as the two previous games.

Before anyone goes after me for being nit-picky – I still believe that this was as complete of a game as we have played in years.  Nonetheless, we have to work on some things before we play Oregon in two weeks.  They will exploit our weaknesses.

      Go Utes!!!

No worries, the very best teams look to cleanup anything subpar. All of those things, I expect, have improvement objectives this week. All need refinement before the 20th.

      1.  I bet that is a focused all week.

      2. Which plays are you referring to?  The ones where Stanford full on pushes your mask and helmet and you defend yourself? Utah had 2 penalties for 10 yards. Even with some of the shady s**t Stanford did I prefer the way that game was called. Zero reviews over a simple spot which seems to be a thing for some P12 crews. Stanford also had 2 for 18 yards. This is being nitpicky.

      3. Field was wet and even caused the Stanford kicker trouble to start the game.

      4. This is connected to the snaps. Defense is getting a jump and batting balls down. Rising made some first down throws. Including Enis targets.

Great post. Only disagree with the penalties. I wish we could add that P12 crew as a traveling partner.

Oregon 2015 was a near perfect game on all facets!
