  Arizona is playing better and with emotion and it’s down there. It could be a trap game if the Utes don’t show up, but they will, and it should be a win.

    Not really sure Arizona is playing better but they are not just quitting like they did when Sumlin was coaching. The Cats literally pose no threat because they cannot move the ball against average defenses. They have scored over 19 points once this season and are splitting reps between a 3rd team Freshman and a guy Rich Rod moved to WR after recruiting him to play qb.

      Agreed, Colorado might have the ability to give us a WTF loss if we don’t show up. Arizona does not…our scout team would be able to win this game, np.

        Colorad9 has a nasty defense with no offense. Landman is going to want this game bad (injured against us last year while colorad9 was leading)
        
        I still like Coach Whit against Karl Dorrell – but I don’t think it’s going to be like his last trip to SLC (44-6 over the bruins in ’07)

  If I were a betting man – I would bet on Utah to beat the spread. I think we win by 30+ points. Arizona scored very late to beat a Cal team (10-3) that had like 42 scholarship players available because of Covid.
  
  That being said, we should not take anything for granted. UA has nothing to lose. If we do not come prepared and we have a number of turnovers, the results could be bad. I suspect KW and staff will have these guys prepared.

  AZ Rush D is 10th in the pac-12. Just use the same game plan that we did against Stanford and we will be fine. There offense is meh. There QB has thrown 7 int and 2 TDS. They have some talented skill guys, but. We are Utah. Should be an easy win. We just have to show up and play our game. I don’t think Covey, D Lloyd will let these guys overlook AZ for Oregon. Plus we have to have this win for the south. Gives us some wiggle room is we lose to UO.

  After all this team has gone through, if you dont’ think these guys are going to be hitting on all cylinders these last few games, I don’t know what to tell you. Yeah the Oregon St game happened, that won’t happen again though, especially against Colo or Ari.
  
  I would be willing to bet that Kyle is really aggressive and tries to get out in front of Arizona in the first half, so that there is no risk of losing someone like Lloyd to a targeting call in the 2nd half (which would put him out the first half of the Oregon game).
  
  This group is playing so well on both sides, Arizona and Colorado aren’t going to slip that up. Period.

  I really hate to be that guy, but Utah will not lose to Arizona. This is a team that is completely devoid of talent and won’t be able to stop Utah’s offense.
  
  I personally think they are trending upward with Fisch as HC, but they are simply not a threat right now. It took everything they had to beat Cal (who was down 24 players or something crazy like that due to Covid protocols).

    Agree. I think they’re like OSU in 2018, Smith’s first year. Trending up but going to finish 1-8 in conference.

  The Oregon st loss is simple. They played better then we did. Are elite running thr ball, had a bye week to prepare. And it’s not like we played terrible. Punch in one of those three red one TDs abs we win
