Bradley, Roberts and one other big instate recruit (I can’t remember his name) all signed with BYU. Majerus wanted these three players big-time. It seemed like the end of the world. How would we compete?
Where were the two programs six years later? Let me remind you – Utah was moving up the college rankings with Van Horn, Miller, Doleac, et al. BYU fired their coach and only won one game in the 96-97 season. In 1998 we were in the final-four.
We lost Chandler. Oh well! The world is not ending. I trust Smith to get this turned around. Coach K stopped caring IMO.
