How do we stop Thibodeaux?

  We do not have a tackle who is quick and strong enough to stop him. So, what do we do?
  
  – Tight ends will chip him. They will move the tight end to his side when they need to.
  
  – The RB will stay in and block. I wouldn’t want to be the RB. 🙂
  
  – Max protection when needed. Oregon State did this a lot under Riley and it was very successful.
  
  I am sure that Ludwig has a solid fame plan to stop Thibodeaux.

  Can we just pull Laumea right to left and knock his ass over a few straight plays to begin the game?

    This should deffently be used a few times. Double team with a TE, release the TE and throw to him. Run at him wiith a TE in motion coming at him. Hopefully we are lucky to be coming his way when he drops back into a zone. It will take several plans because Oregon will adjust to anything used often. Ban has to play well on most snaps.

  Everything you said and You try and use his aggressiveness against him by running screens to the space he voids or you just run away from him

        Another thing… bam has been real solid since the oline put it together. And he has all the physical gifts in the world.
        
        It might be too much to ask, but what if he just makes himself a whole bunch money on Saturday by keeping thibedeux in check?!?!

  Aside from Tonya Harding him we don’t, you can’t stop a player like him only limit his impact on the game.
