Rising knew last night he needed to step up and set the leadership tone for his team. Rising’s numbers may not have jumped off the stat sheet, but his team leadership, toughness, IT factor to make big plays in key situations are what makes this team roll. The players see the amount of effort he puts into the game while calmly leading his team with a big smile on his face. Dude is no joke and this team runs through fire for him.

Rising runs the ball like a 230 lb RB. There are very few players in D1 football or in the NFL strong enough to stiff arm Noah Sewell to the ground the way Rising did along with his speed on the big run pulling away from 5 star athletes.

Rising is a 100% QB version of KW and Morgan Scalley and they love every minute of it. KW handing the keys to his dad’s rebuilt truck over to Rising for the video, you know that trust runs deep. Safe to say, there are very few if any of KWs family that are allowed to even sit in that truck. Some of you in the car world know what I am talking about.

Totally agree, Rising was HUGE last night. Interceptions happen like the one where he got hit right as he was throwing and the ball went straight up in the air…not his fault. But some of his throws last night were absolute darts, like the one he threaded the needle right over the middle between 3 defenders to Kincaid. Unreal throw! As well as the subsequent TD pass to Kincaid right on the money. Rising is clearly the leader that steadies the team and has continued to lead us all year long to the promised land. Amazing to think we’ve got Rising for 2 more years!

Rising could declare now if he wants. He probably won’t. I’m worried about Kincaid and Thomas. We need those guys pretty bad.
