      Not a big surprise. I think he was waiting to hear how high he graded out before deciding to declare or not. I would imagine he’s one that could end up coming back if he goes further down the path and feels 1 more year would increase his draft stock.
      With Mika declaring, though, does this make it more likely for a guy like Gabe Reid to commit to Utah?

      It’s time for Mika. He’s an RM and needs to get to the league ASAP.

        If Reid were to come to Utah, Covey said he’d play DE for us. He’s played OLB at Stanford.

      Reid transferring in if he does is great for depth and rotation support at DE for Carlton, Ellis/LB, Suguturaga, Wegis and other young players learning the position. Man, it is crazy how young and talented Utah is at all positions. Partly a Covid year thing, but over the past 2-3 years Utah has busted the reload vs retrain bubble. Losing Tafua, Lloyd, and Sewell are tough shoes to fill. Across the board, this defense could be even better next season.
