With the increased stature of our program, these things are inevitable and ultimately a great chance to improve the team. I am excited to see who we bring in.

I’d give my left nut to have John Pease (RIP) come back and coach the d-line. I agree that Utah is in a good place, but also, there’s been a whole hell of a lot of good coaches come through here.

For sure. I think pease is the best position coach we’ve ever had.

I think our team culture will make it easier than usual for a position coach to succeed at both DL and RB. What we need is expert recruiters.

You make it sound so easy.

It’s all about recruiting. If we could get some that would give access to recruits we wouldn’t have otherwise.

So you’re saying we need to recruit an RB coach who can recruit RBs?

Preferably someone who can recruit RBs AND can coach RBs.

I think we’d all agree it’s not all about recruiting. Overall, coaching / development is probably more important…. For consistent championships, CFP (blue blood program status) BOTH coaching / development and top recruiting are needed
