      Wronghorns might do well to just replace Sark with Patterson.  Or bring him in as Defensive Coordinator.  Maybe he didn’t want a full-time job and Sans-a-belt didn’t want him as a spokesmodel.

      Incidentally, I work for a large University and I wish I could just bring my friends in as special assistants; instead they keep taking away our admin staff positions and make it difficult to hire research staff even when we have grant income to fund them. -end rant-

      There is NO downside to hiring Gary Patterson.  Good move by Texas.

      I feel like Utah could have done this exact thing a few years back. Feeling that Whitt built something and let him go. He goes to USC as a Dcoordinator and destroys Utah for the next five years.
