      I can’t say if there’s been anyone from the media (local or otherwise) in Utah’s corner more than Yogi Roth.

      You are correct.  This guy has been such a “Utah” cheerleader, that I once had to check him out on Wikipedia to see when he’d graduated….only to find out that he went to (and played for) Pitt!  That’s when I really started listening to him.  I don’t pay much attention to “homers”, but when you have little skin in the game, your comments are worth more to me.

        Yogi is a homer for every team in the conference, but yes it’s nice when he’s a Utah homer.

      Love this:

      “This is the window for them — it’s their league based on what they did this past year, what they return and their culture. To me, they are easily in the top 10 and probably the top seven or eight. They will be everybody’s favorite (from the Pac-12) to go to the playoff. And the schedule sets up well for them.
