SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men’s basketball team continues to bolster its frontcourt with the addition of Wisconsin transfer Ben Carlson Runnin’ Utes head coach Craig Smith announced on Thursday.
The addition of Carlson brings the newcomer list to five and joins Wilguens Exacte Jr., Keba Keita, Mike Saunders Jr. and Luka Tarlac.
Carlson saw action in 30 games with a pair of starts this past season with the Badgers and helped them win the Big Ten regular-season title going 15-5 in league play and 25-8 overall with a second round appearance in the NCAA Tournament. He made his first career start in the third game of the season against Providence on Nov. 15 before making his first Big Ten start against Michigan State on Jan. 21,
