Utah projections for 2022

      I heard a guy from SI on the radio today talking about the PAC12.  He ranks each team based on some kind of statistical algorithm. 

      He said Utah ranks 10th on offense and 31st on defense nationally.  He said the defense ranking for Utah is lower than usual and could change as the new guys start getting experience.

      He said USC ranks 20th on offense and 80th on defense.  He did say that USC has 19 incoming transfers and that makes it difficult for his algorithm.

      He believes Utah is a solid top-ten offense.  It’s kind of fun to see Utah with a highly ranked offense.  He is high on Rising.

      This could be a very fun season.

      Guy was from ESPN, but otherwise you gave a good summary of his projections.

      I never get my hopes up for a spectacular season. I take one game at a time and enjoy the ride. There are reasons to believe this team will do well in Autumn, certainly, and I look forward to the surprises our Utes have in store.
