Jonah came to Utah from Moscow, Idaho along with his father Luther Ellis (Utah 1991-94, Detroit Lions 1995-2003, Denver Broncos 2004), who is a Utah DL coach. He played backup LB and on special teams in 2021. Recorded 15 tackles and had 2 fumble recoveries, including versus Arizona State in that big comeback win.

Collin is a Freshman who played WR at Brighton HS (in Cottonwood Heights. As a kick returner he led the state in return average at 38.5 yds (19 returns for 462 yds and 2 TDs). Also played baseball at Brighton. Has not seen action as a Ute.
He’s a legacy Ute; father, Mike, played football and baseball at Utah and mother was a recruiting coordinator for Ron McBride.
