#19 Luca Caldarella and Bryson Reeves
Luca Caldarella, Sophomore WR, 6-3, 194
Luca is a JUCO transfer from Cerritos College in California. He played one season, 2021, at Cerritos, grabbing 35 receptions for 482 yards and 7 TDs. He had a 3-TD, 109 yard game vs Southwestern. As a newcomer to Utah, I expect he will be on the scout team and, perhaps, see some special teams action, as he logged 441 yards as a kick returner one year at Valley Christian HS (also in Cerritos, CA) where he also played basketball and competed in track.

#19, Luca Caldarella
Bryson Reeves, Sophomore S, 6-1, 203
Bryson played in 6 games for the Utes in 2021, as a defender on special teams. He recorded 2 tackles. Bryson comes to Utah from St Francis HS in Montrose, CA (N Los Angeles Co.). At St Francis he played both ways; as a WR he had 2,144 receiving yards and 30 TDs over his HS career, and on defense he logged 25 total tackles and a blocked field goal, as a senior, to go with 29 tackles as a junior. For his efforts he earned League Offensive MVP in his senior season and 3 1st Team All-Region selections. He arrived at Utah as a WR and transitioned to safety during the 2021 season. He and 3 others form the returning safety squad; expect him to play behind Cole Bishop and RJ Hubert while being challenged by newcomers such as Sione Vaki and transfer Clayton Isbell.</span>
