    That was my question too! As far back as I can remember there was always some member of special teams on the captain’s list but I didn’t even see one in the leadership counsel.

      That’s where Kuithe comes in. Wasn’t he wanting to return kicks in the absence of Covey this year. Maybe they let him?

        I don’t want Kuithe to return punts because of potential injury. He claims that he is one of the fastest players on the team. He knows he isn’t the fastest. He said he is definitely in the top ten and closer to five than ten.

        This. Kuithe is a too important to the offense to have him out there getting kamikaze’d on kickoff and punt return
