What’re your 3 keys to the victory at Florida & your confidence in each of them?

  1) Formidable run game – I feel fairly confident about this one given the data from last season.
  
  2) Contain Anthony Richardson – He’s talented and a true dual-threat, but can also be erratic. Can we contain him? I’m 50/50 on this one.
  
  3) No ST miscues – Least confident in this area, but hopefully it’s a non-factor.
  
  Humidity, crowd noise, etc. will also be factors but not as big as people are making them to be IMO.
  
  What’re your 3 keys?

  1. score more points than your opponent
  2. give up less points than your opponent
  3. if game is still tied, restart cycle

  1. No turnovers
  
  2. Not too many 3rd and long situations on offense
  
  3. Contain FL’s QB

  1. Tavion averages more than 5 yards a carry.
  
  2. Linebackers must make open field tackles.
  
  3. Kuithe and Kincaid draw multiple defenders to open the passing lanes for each other.

  1. Get to the QB. Utah’s record was substantially higher last season when we got to the QB
  2. Score early, then get a stop. If Utah can get going early, crowd will be out of it fast
  3. Minimize dumb mistakes. It’s the first game of the year so it’s bound to happen, but if we minimize them then there isn’t problems
