      I don’t think the offensive coaches had the team well prepared for the 3-3-5 defense and their stunts.  However, I will give them credit for making game time changes.  I wonder if Rising being sick affected the way he played.

      The defense was awesome, especially in the first half.  I like how Vele is returning punts and catching the ball as a receiver.

      We need to get off to quicker starts on offense if we want to win the conference.  We have scored only 14 points in the first quarter in three games.  We need to get back to where we were at the end of last season.

      I think the coaches did. Evident in the way adjustments to Rising specifically showed the week of preparation. Rising was not executing at a high level. They changed the tempo and Rising stood in the pocket instead of running away too soon. 

      Quicker starts on the road would really help. Especially next week. The chunk scoring is back. It is demoralizing to be on the end of that chunking.
