Without Caleb Williams….without him, they’d easily have two or three more losses. If teams like Utah and Arizona can put 30-40+ points a game against them, can you imagine what tOSU, Georgia, or Alabama would do to them? I can easily see 50+ points or more unless they call off the horses.

If they played any legit top 5 team their weak defense will get smoked.

I think a few things would happen against a Top 5 team. First, Williams would not be able to run wild and would be forced to essentially pass from the pocket. Two, USC’s running game would be shut down completely and they would become one dimensional. Lastly, their defense, which is entirely mediocre at best, would get destroyed in a detailed and comprehensive manner. I mean, Williams had to have another career night to beat Arizona, a team which just barely beat North Dakota State and which got shellacked by Cal. Like I said on another site, the Trojans are lucky as f&$k that they avoid both Oregon AND Washington this season.

If they make the CFP it will be an absolute embarrassment for the PAC-12. They will get destroyed.

It’ll go as well as Oklahoma has done in the playoff, first game loss that’s 45-21.

If they made the CFP as the #4 seed, they would probably play Georgia. I can see the Bulldogs laying a 60 spot on the Trojans without breaking a sweat.
