I am impressed with how Arizona has improved over the last two years on offense. They are averaging over 470 total yards per game and 340 yards passing. De Laura is slippery and very difficult to bring down. They may end the season with two 1000-yard receivers. When was the last time Utah had a 1000-yard receiver?
Obviously, Arizona’s defense is their weakness. They are giving up 470 yards to Utah’s 340. Their PAC12 record is not impressive. However, they have been in most games until late in the 4th quarter including last night against USC.
Utah will have a major advantage playing at home and our defense is better than the Wildcats’ D. We certainly should win this game, but it will not be a cakewalk. These Arizona players play hard and play to win. They are building a program and doing a great job of becoming competitive. We will need to get to De Laura and sack him and get him off his game.
Questions for the Utes
Will Rising be able to play and if so will he be able to run?
What is the status of Kincaid? I doubt he will be able to play.
Who will be our running backs? Will Bernard be 100%?
We are an injured team. I think we will need to play better than Thursday of offense to win this game. If we play well on offense – we should win.

Totally agree. AZ. is dangerous. Their offense is explosive. Their QB is a gunslinger & their receivers are ballers.
Hopefully, our D Line / front 4 can get consistent pressure on the QB. We may need to Spy their QB. Our DB’s are going to have to be very disciplined & cover like no other.
I’m really hoping Utah can get an (offensive) run game going. Need long, sustained drives to keep the AZ offense, off the field.
Hope Cam & Micah are healthy & can play. Obviously, I would also hope Dalton (Gronkowsi) Kincaid can play. But, that seems like too much of a stretch…

Ironic you’d refer to Kincaid as Gronkowski the week we’d play the school Gronk attended. BTW U of A is either the second or third highest paying NIL school in the PAC12 according to my sources.

I think the game versus Arizona will be easier than what some are predicting. One, Utah is not USC, so it’ll definitely be harder for the Wildcats to get up for that game, especially since it’s in Salt Lake City. I’ve watched every single PAC-12 game that USC has played this season and they have definitely taken every team’s best punch and effort in each contest. Two, the Wildcats, while dangerous, and objectively not that good. Their record (3-5) says what they really are, a bad team trending to mediocre. Remember, this is the same team that got blown out by Cal and almost lost to North Dakota State. In that sense, they’re a very similar team to Arizona State, a team that the Utes easily disposed of earlier in the season. If Rising is playing, I predict an easy 10-14+ point victory by the Utes.
