      3rd and 5 with Houdini as QB and they throw a 30 yard streak out of bounds. Then, 3rd and 1 with Houdini as QB and they overthrow a 40 yard streak. Wtf? Also the muffed punt catch at the 8 yard line, why even field that rainy ball? Pretty dumb IMO.

      There was a goal line situation. I recall that I was surprised they didn’t use him.

      I was thinking that same thing when it happened. Nothing says bad coaching like “we need 2 yards on this play, so let’s go for 40.”

      Yeah, during the game it was surprising the lead the Utes were able to build while the stats remained fairly close in the first half, and it was because of turnovers and those dumb play calls.
